This dentist office has a separate play room for kids. Brady didn't mind the long wait. He was able to create a Lego garbage factory. He's very proud!
They asked me if I wanted Brady to have "laughing gas". Sure! Why not! They explained to him all about the little "nose" that he would have to wear and asked him if he wanted to smell cotton candy or bubble gum. Cotton candy won! Here he is waiting for his dose of cotton candy.
All he could say was, "Mmmm...smells so good!" And kept honking the nose saying, "Hey I'm a clown!"
He was so dopey. He had this constant smile under the laughing gas nose!
As you can tell he was quite relaxed during the filling. Crossed legs...love it.
When it was over they put this little tube of cotton in his mouth so he didn't bite his cheek. It looks like he is having a cigarette!
Brady was a champ through the filling process. He loved that they were using "mighty machines" to work on a hole in his tooth. This kid loves any kind of machine! Now we just have to go back three more times...

if only you could take that laughing gas home for the whole family to use when necessary, right??!! hope he doesn't bite through his cheek like brody did and good luck with the rest of the cavities!
Glad he did well. We love Dr. Boyne and the new younger girl she has working with her... can't remember her name. Anyway, Anderson has had his share of the laughing gas as well. He had two filled when he was 22 months old, so don't feel so bad that Brady's as old as he is with some cavities. Plus he's had two more since then! :) Those darn baby teeth!
